The work you would actually be doing
BC Legacy runs multi-family and mixed-use residential from roughly twelve units through the 250 unit range, commercial tenant improvements, and custom homes. Current active work includes a 99 unit townhouse community and a 6 storey condo building.
That means real scope on real sites rather than a narrow slice of one asset class. Site supervision, trade coordination, scheduling, cost control, and the reporting that sits behind all of it.
One region, run out of one office
The office is at 2320 King George Blvd in Surrey, and the work sits across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Surrey through Mission, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam and Langley.
Working one region rather than chasing jobs across the province means a workable commute and enough time on site to actually catch things, rather than a schedule built around driving.
Who tends to fit here
People who would rather flag a problem early than be right about it later. BC Legacy publishes its schedule and budget to clients in a live portal, which only works if the people producing those numbers are straight about them.
Experience in BC specifically matters, because the trades, the inspection regimes and the weather windows here are their own discipline. If you have run work in this market, that carries weight.
