BC Legacy Consulting Group exists to give owners a single accountable contractor. On most construction projects the budget lives with one party, the schedule with another and the site with a third, and when they disagree it is the owner who pays. We close that gap. From early feasibility through occupancy and handover, BC Legacy carries the budget, the schedule, trade performance and quality as one line of responsibility, whether the project is a custom home in South Surrey or a 6 storey condo building.
We work as owner's representative, construction manager and general contractor across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, on townhouse communities and wood-frame mid-rise, mixed-use buildings, commercial tenant improvements and custom homes. The engagement changes with the project. The people, the reporting and the standard of site supervision do not.

Schedule, budget, change orders, RFIs, daily logs and site photography are available to you in real time through the client portal, backed by regular written reporting. No phone tag, no surprises at the monthly meeting, no version of the numbers that differs from ours.

The team that scopes your project delivers your project and stands behind it through warranty. No handoff from a sales team to a delivery team, and no junior project manager swapped in once the work is on site.

Process
Concept to keys, with one accountable line.
Four stages, the same for a custom home and a 6 storey condo building. Structured enough to control risk, flexible enough to fit the engagement the project actually needs.

Discovery and feasibility
We define what you are trying to achieve, test the site against zoning, cost and timeline, and build the financial and development framework before any capital is committed. For homeowners that is a realistic budget and schedule. For investors and developers it is a pro forma that will hold up with a lender.

Design and permitting
We coordinate the architect, engineers and consultants, hold the design against the budget as it develops, and manage development permits, building permits and municipal approvals so the project arrives on site with a set of drawings that can actually be built for the number on the page.

Construction
We run the build: scheduling, cost control, trade procurement and coordination, daily site supervision, safety and quality control, with schedule and budget reporting in the client portal you can act on the same day it is posted.

Turnkey delivery and warranty
Commissioning, deficiency resolution, occupancy approvals and documentation turnover, then the same team through the warranty period. You get keys, closeout records and a contractor who still picks up the phone a year later.

What kind of company is BC Legacy Consulting Group?
BC Legacy is a construction management company and general contractor based in Surrey, BC. We deliver custom homes, multi-family residential, mixed-use and commercial construction for homeowners, investors and developers across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, and we also act as owner’s representative where a client wants independent oversight of a team they have already hired.
Who will actually run my project?
The people you meet at the first conversation are the people who deliver the work. Gary Chahal holds direct accountability for every engagement, and the project manager and site team assigned at contract stay with the project through to warranty. We do not hand a project from a sales team to a delivery team.
How long has BC Legacy been building in Metro Vancouver?
The team behind BC Legacy has more than fifteen years of construction management and general contracting experience in the Lower Mainland, with over $500M in projects delivered and more than $130M currently active on site across townhouse, mid-rise, commercial and custom home work.
Do you take on small projects, or only large developments?
Both. A single custom home, a fourplex on a rezoned lot and a 6 storey condo building all run through the same process and the same people. What changes is the engagement type and the size of the site team, not the level of attention the project gets.
Where does BC Legacy build?
Across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, including Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Langley, Delta, White Rock, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge and Mission. If a site sits somewhere we could not supervise properly, we will say so up front.
